# Bluetooth Set Transmit Power ## ~hint ![](/static/bluetooth/Bluetooth_SIG.png) For another device like a smartphone to use any of the Bluetooth "services" which the @boardname@ has, it must first be [paired with the @boardname@](/reference/bluetooth/bluetooth-pairing).
